Sealant of first stage sealing

The sealant is applied to the lateral surface of the spacer plates and when assembly of insulating glass is serve as an auxiliary means for fixing the on the glass, and in the finished product is a major barrier to the penetration of water vapor from the atmosphere into the space between the panes, providing 93 - 95 % of tightness in product as a whole. Sealants be applied manually (using butyl tape or cord) or with butyl extruder. After combining of glass with space bar it is necessary to swage of glass along the contour.

For the primary seal, we suggest you use butyl Butylver (Fenzi) and Butylver-Tape (Fenzi).

Butylver (Fenzi)

This one-component, thermoplastic, solvent-free sealant based on polyisobutylene. Designed for use in the production of primary sealing of insulating gloss.

It has high adhesion to glass, aluminum, stainless and galvanized steel. Apply using the extruder in the temperature range of 130 - 150 degrees Celsius. Effectively prevents penetration of moisture inside the glass. It has high wear.

Butylver-Tap (Fenzi)

This one-component, thermoplastic, solvent-free sealant based on polyisobutylene, which was developed for the manufacture of construction triplex, and which is used both for bilateral sealing of glass in a pane (Butylcord without cord) and for sealing the edges on the production of construction triplex (Butylcord with cord).
